John Foley Prized Band

The Prized Band is John Foley; John Foley is the Prized Band: a four piece alternative folk group from Limerick, making music for a mythical character called John:

A whirlwind of melancholic whimsy and playful compositions, the prized band wants you to have a lot of a fun at Johns concerts. Featuring accordion, guitar, bass and drums alongside four part vocal harmonies, John's songs express bizarre and joyful musings on love, friendship and public infrastructure, the prized band are serious about John, and love him very much. They are hopeful for Johns life and they want you to be hopeful too!

Amongst others, the Prized Band have supported Child of Prague, Boyfrens and Mother of Pearl and played for at events for Feile Na Greine and All We Have Are Days festivals.
In 2026, the Prized Band will release their debut album, and look forward to playing many shows around the country, spreading an awareness and a love for John Foley.
