Paul Sheehan is a multidisciplinary performer and music curator whose practice centres on his audiovisual alias @pressplayrepeat, where he composes immersive techno, electro and ambient sound worlds through original releases, live performance and curated broadcasts.

His work has reached international audiences through projects including Sùgradh on Èist Radio, The Dig on Dance Nation Radio, and the Meiahora Mix in São Paulo, as well as Abhaile — an original composition commissioned by Radio Alhara in Bethlehem that reflects on notions of home and Ireland’s shifting cultural landscape.

A committed advocate for vinyl DJing, Paul foregrounds the tactile poetry of analogue sound; through @onemorechoon, he invites participants into hands-on engagement with vinyl as a creative ritual that nurtures flow, expression and presence.

This initiative extends his artistic vision into the realm of social practice, merging music and mental health advocacy to cultivate spaces where listening becomes a shared act of care, connection and creative renewal. His recent partnering with Youth Work Tipperary, LCYP and Unqualified Design, creators of The Snug, has him very excited for what the future holds.
