Plantain Papi

Plantain Papi is a vocalist, music producer and mix-engineer hailing from North Dublin, popular for creatively infusing rap, afrobeat and pop sounds together.
Since releasing his first single on streaming platforms in late 2017, Plantain has gone on to have great radio success in Ireland.

A maverick in the studio, Plantain has produced for Tolu Makay, F3miii, Sophie Jane and MangoxMathman to name a few. Plantain Papi was also selected to be on RTE 2FM’s Rising List in 2021.

Having sold out his first headline show at The Academy Dublin, Plantain was chosen to perform at last year's Longitude Festival on the main stage. He has entertained large crowds all over Ireland including Trinity Ball, 3Arena with Burna Boy, The Button Factory, and toured Ireland with MangoxMathman. The talented artist has also supported the likes of Mayorkun, YBN Gang, Sneakbo and Maleek Berry on the Irish leg of their respective tours.
