PHOENO (fee:no) are Adam Matthews and Liam Corbett, an independent duo from Dublin, carving out a Pop electro space that’s wholly their own. Phoeno’s recent single Made Of Stone; the second single from their forthcoming album out Spring 2025, fuses melancholic vocals with breezy synthwaves. A song about feeling emotional frozen and longing for ease of youth. The song is a statement of intent about who PHOENO are as a band, encapsulating the sophisticated approach the lads take with both lyrics and musicality.

Their forthcoming album "Comfort in the Knowing' was recorded in the UK and Ireland with producer Richie Kennedy (Interpol, White Lies, Ed O’Brien, Fink, Jehnny Beth, Palace, Shame, The Murder Capital) and mixed by John Catlin (Foals, Warpaint and Death Cab For Cutie)

The name PHOENO comes from Dublin’s iconic Phoenix Park. Long term musical collaborators Adam Matthews and Liam Corbett took to taking long runs together during the many Covid lockdowns. On these epic treks, they’d talk about sounds, lyrics, themes. The running became its own escape and the landscape became the backdrop for a new musical entity. And so PHOENO was born from The Phoeno. An album of songs and a new band was the delicious fruits of a difficult time.
