Paul Jackson

Paul Jackson is from Perth Western Australia. He has been playing guitar from the age of 11 and has played in bands in Perth, Sydney, New Zealand, Ireland, PNG and Eritrea. He currently lives in County Clare and has been playing as a solo artist for the last three years. Paul has an album called "Young for Mountains" out on all the platforms that he recorded in Auckland between 2019 and 2021, then he moved to Ireland in 2022. The album was recorded at the Lab studio with producer Scott Seabright and features session drummers and a session pianist and keyboard player. Paul is a fingerstyle guitar player and in the last year his style has become more percussive. He is known for making his acoustic guitar sound like multiple guitars. And he his known for his lyrical compositions also. Paul has supported Trinity Roots in New Zealand on multiple occasions and has supported Hothouse Flowers in Perth and in Ireland as well as featuring on stages with many other artists in both collaboration and in support. Paul plays the cafe and pub scene in Country Clare and has played some shows of his own, he will be featured at this years Doolin Folk festival.
