Parliament Square

Indie
Limerick City, County Limerick
2937

Within the walls of a small studio, Parliament Square’s discovery sails alive as a compelling combination of rich pop layers among mixed styles of rock and electronica. By moulding hook-filled melodies within hard and heavy beats, Parliament Square have the ability to compact their influences and experience into groovy tales of life.

Since their formation in 2012 Parliament Square has impressed live on stage bringing together experienced players Brendan Markham (Lead Vocals & founder member of “The Driven” signed to Polydor UK), Ross Brennan (Guitar / Keys), Colin Bartley (Bass) & Karol Drea (Drums).

Parliament Square’s debut release “Forest Fire”, recorded by Owen Lewis (Snow Patrol / REM) was featured on national radio (RTE 1, London XFM). The song “In My House” was featured on the Limerick City of Culture “Pigtown Fling”, produced by Noel Hogan (Cranberries).

After supporting acts such as The Waterboys, Hozier & Cast and performing at Indiependence Festival, Parliament Square released their Choice Music Prize listed album in Oct 2016 with nationwide performances in Dolans, Workmans Club, Whelans & Crane Lane.
