Papa Romeo

Papa Romeo is a five-piece band from Dublin, whose sound blends jazz influences with psych and indie rock.

Building their reputation on the Irish festival circuit at Cork Jazz, Other Voices, All Together Now, and Another Love Story , and through sold-out headline shows at The Sugar Club and Grand Social in Dublin, the band have become known for an immersive live set that blends groove-driven energy with spacey production.

2025 marked a step up in scale. as the band played standout sets at The Great Escape Brighton, supported 70s icons WAR at the Academy Dublin, headlined Dublin's Workman's Club (via MCD), and sold out London's 91 Living Room.

In May 2024 they released 'Late Night Load Out' on vinyl and digital, an eight-track EP capturing the highs and lows of late night gear hauls on the road. The record has surpassed 900k streams and received support across BBC 6 Music (Lauren Laverne and Deb Grant) and NTS Radio London, with a five-stop tour across Ireland and the UK following its release. The band are now writing and recording their debut album.
