Other Mother is making teen angst cool again. The dance grooves, heartbreaking lyrics, and violent guitars that feature every one of their songs will bring you on a rollercoaster of emotions, and have you crying and dancing at the same time. And somehow, it will make sense.

The alt-rock bubblegrunge band has skyrocketed their success over the last year, joining bands such as HOUSEMATES and Swallow Sorrow around the country on tour, winning MTU battle of the bands 2025, playing festivals like ESMAfest, The next big thing and Feile Solas. Most recently they sold out their headline gig in Wavelength in cork, where they also sold their handmade merch.

Other Mother's debut single Inevitable is described by Hot Press Magazine as "A groovy anthem, with a melodic bassline, a captivating hook, a cracking guitar solo and clever lyrics." Their most recent single Want u 2 want me 2 die featured in a Waster Magazine article "The song is crunchy and anger-filled, yet is carried by a funky dance beat, very reminiscent of a Paramore tune."
