Orla Monelle

Pop // Dublin, Dublin // she/her

Orla Monelle is an independent Pop/R&B artist born in Belgium and now based in Dublin. At seventeen, she moved to Ireland alone to pursue music, a decision that continues to shape her identity as an artist navigating between places, influences and experiences.

Since then, she has been steadily building momentum through consistent releases and live performance. She has released eight singles to date, including Romanticise and The Best Love, which showcase her ability to blend emotionally driven songwriting with strong pop and R&B sensibilities. Her music has earned over 200,000 streams on Spotify, alongside playlist support from New Music Friday UK and R&B Fresh Finds, and radio play across RTÉ 2FM, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Spin 1038, Today FM and BBC Radio Ulster.
Her live show is a central part of her development. Orla has performed across Ireland and the UK, with highlights including Sofar Sounds Belfast and The Ruby Sessions in Dublin. Whether in intimate acoustic settings or with her full band, as seen in her sold-out headline show in February 2024 and her performance at Her Sound, Her Stage in The Workman’s Cellar, her focus is on creating a genuine and emotionally connected experience.

Influenced by artists such as Olivia Dean, Sinéad Harnett and Joy Crookes, Orla’s sound sits between Pop and R&B, rooted in vulnerability, storytelling and vocal strength. Her Debut EP 'Until It's True' is out the 29th of May 2026.
