Olivia Mihet

From the rhythmic complexity of jazz to the haunting echoes of Romanian folk, I create a space for silenced voices and the internal dialogues we use to survive. This is music for the seen and the heard. By blending ancestral mythology with contemporary production, I explore a female point of view on what it means to leave the ghosts behind and finally embrace freedom.

About the artist:
Olivia Mihet is a singer-songwriter and artist based in Cork.
She writes her own indie and soulful music with influences from jazz, classical music, rock and Romanian folk music.

Olivia was a semifinalist in Eurovision Romania in 2022 with her own song ‘Fragile’; while studying BA in Pop Composition in the Bucharest Conservatory. In 2025 she graduated with First Class Honours in Masters Commercial Composition.
Olivia opened in 2024 for artists such as Irina Rimes, 3 Sud Est and SAL.

She released an EP “Dialog Interior” (2025) along with other 7 singles . The most adored song by the audience are “Paris (silly little things)” (2024) and “Blackbird” (2025).
In her latest release the EP “Dialog Interior”, Olivia paints vivid sonic images about her background, exploring her Romanian heritage. With a feminist message, she tells the relatable story of how women were raised and treated in the post communism times.
