Oliver James

Indie // Dundalk, Louth

It is from the border town of Dundalk that this country gent hails. Having honed his craft years ago at the Tall Poppy Club in the Spirit Store, Oliver has a unique ability to draw a crowds attention with his deep, rich, and sometimes, ironic tones. He has supported local artists such as Norabelle and Stewart Agnew, as well as international artists, such as Jeff Buckley band member and Canadian songwriter, Jeff Martin.

His last live performance was in March 2009, in Whelans upstairs. Since then he has been writing, re-writing, recording and re-recording in his home studio. In August 2015 he stepped back into Jam Studio's and recorded the EP 'All My Sins', which can be heard here.

Beautifully crafted, warm, witty and true, Oliver's songs are to be cherished. With ironic undertones and dry wit, he writes about science, love, life, trade and a multitude.
