OJO

OJO are an instrumental 4 piece band based in North Dublin, Ireland playing boundaries-pushing original music influenced by Irish trad as well as folk/world music, with a distinctive sound and vibe.

The founding members, Stephen and Jimbo, originally began as a two-piece act in 2017. They quickly lit up the Dublin music scene by appearing at local venues and thrilling audiences with their rythmical, high energy music, with the handpan creating an almost Caribbean-like vibe.

The line-up now also includes violin and tenor banjo/mandolin, with the repertoire still including the handpan and the "classic Ojo" vibe but also enriched with more melodic compositions and varied influences.
