Oisín Ó hAonghusa

Oisín ó hAonghusa is a traditional Irish musician and singer songwriter. Originally from Rathfarnham in south Dublin, he grew up playing traditional Irish music. He is a member of the well-known musical family Na Casaidigh.

He studied Irish Traditional Music at 3rd level in Technological University Dublin, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor of music degree.

He has been writing songs since his late teens, and since the Covid 19 pandemic started recording some of his own original material.
He has collaborated with Dublin-based rapper, artist, folklorist & Gaeilgeoir, Blue Niall, working on tracks such as CÓDAC.

Since 2022, he has recorded several original tracks, one of which, ‘Shepherd’, was released in 2024.
He continues to write and record songs, as well as perform as a fiddle player. His most recent performances include World Expo Osaka 2025, and Expo Dubai 2022.
He is a member of Dublin folk group Na Cauci, who specialise in arrangements of traditional music and folk songs, as well as original songs and compositions.
