NOELLE CARROLL

Noelle is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter originally from Dublin. Her focus in creating music is on the lyrics. Her admiration of artists such as Elliot Smith, Billy Joel and Joni Mitchell from a young age formed a love for storytelling and expression through the medium of songwriting. Noelle released her first EP 'beautiful things' on the 14th of February. She describes the work as a "snippet of an insight into the way [her] brain works". With honest lyrics and a range of styles throughout the project, Noelle displays a journey of emotion right from the first track. The project is entirely self-written and produced by the young musician, who wanted to "explore" different ways of creating music, without having to stick to one exact sound, style or genre within the EP as she said she felt "restricted" by this notion. She has recently announced her next single 'strawberry skittles' being released on June 23 along with another EP 'The girl in the red car' on August 16.
