Mustafa Sal

Mustafa Sal is the stage name of Mustafa Salman Ahmed, a 23 year old alt-pop musician of Pakistani and Italian heritage.

After dropping out of college in Milan to pursue music full-time, Mustafa travelled to Ireland and quickly began to garner a following under his previous pseudonym: Sal the Musician. His music was picked up on national radio (RTE2FM), and earned him accolades from several music publications. In the summer of 2019, Mustafa went on tour with the Galway Street Club and opened a show in Dublin for the platinum-selling Australian alt-rockers You Am I.

In early 2020, he was preparing for his first headline show when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

After almost a year spent in contemplation and growth, he has begun a new chapter. With his introspective lyricism and electro-tinged indie pop sound, Mustafa is ready to step out into the world once more. In the past few months, his song has been featured on international blogs and magazines, and even earned a spot on official Spotify playlists.
