Mob Wife

Mob Wife are a noise rock/punk band consisting of Chris Leckey , Wilson Davidson and Carl Small.

The band were formed in the closing months of 2018 following the folding of individual projects. Under the guise of eschewing popular beliefs of what punk music should be, Mob Wife galvanise various genres and defy expectations with their exploratory and experimental take on the punk and indie genres of yesteryear.

Cranking the dynamic tension between melody & discordance, they take the tinned, propellent guitar & rhythmic interplay of classic post-hardcore outfits like Unwound & Drive Like Jehu, instilled with a sensitivity brought to the genre by descendents like Pile.

The band released their debut album 'Eat With Your Eyes' in April 2022 and were nominated for Album of the year in the Northern Ireland Music Prize.
