Mickey 'joe' Harte is a singer/songwriter with Platinum records to his credit, and has been a mainstay of the Irish roots and popular music scene for more than 20 years. He has emerged as one of the leading singer-songwriters in Ireland today. An almost alarming ability to lay himself bare, he manages to create an intimacy seldom heard and that is one of his main draws; he works hard at his gigs and is passionate about engaging with his audience on what is an extremely energetic yet personal and enjoyable journey that he takes with his fans.

- in 2003 he signed with (SONY /Columbia uk), and recorded his first official long play album “Sometimes right, sometimes wrong” in London with legendary producer Jon Kelly (Kate bush, Paul mc Cartney, Chris Rea, Deacon Blue, prefab sprout).

on its release the album went straight to number 1, and included the single "We’ve got the world” which became Irelands biggest selling single that year, going on to represent the country in Eurovision the same year.
