Mia Yermeche

Mia Yermeche is a pop and R&B artist from Bettystown, Co. Meath, creating emotionally driven music shaped by storytelling, strong vocals, and the influence of 90s and 00s R&B. Drawing from personal experience, her sound blends contemporary pop sensibility with soulful melodies and honest lyricism. Mia first gained attention with her debut single Butterflies, which reached No. 1 on the iTunes UK/Ireland chart. She was subsequently named Spin 1038’s “Artist to Watch,” selected as one of the five finalists in Hot Press’s A New Local Hero, performed at the associated Academy Dublin showcase, and was later named one of Hot Press’s “Hot for 2022” acts. She also appeared on the televised music competition The Big Deal. Since then, Mia has continued to develop her artistry through writing, recording and collaboration, while refining a distinctive identity rooted in modern pop and R&B. Influenced by artists such as Mahalia, Snoh Aalegra and Kehlani, she is currently focused on building her release momentum, growing her live profile, and expanding her reach in Ireland and internationally.
