Mert Birol

Guitarist with over 14 years of experience, whose practice began in Turkey and is now based in Dublin. For the past three years, I have been performing regularly as a street musician in Dublin, alongside appearances at venues and events.

My work is rooted in a fusion approach, bringing together Mediterranean, Spanish, and Turkish musical traditions within a wider world music framework. In addition to performing, I also work as a guitar teacher.
