Mechanical Wonders

Mechanical Wonders are a five-piece indie band from Blanchardstown, Dublin, formed from the ashes of former outfit Good Time Villains. The lineup features Richie McGrath (vocals, rhythm guitar), Brian Wolohan (lead guitar, backing vocals), Stephen Caulfield (bass),Keith McLoughlin(guitar Vocals) and Carl O’Connor (drums).

Blending indie rock energy with folk warmth and classic songwriting, the band have developed a sound that balances jangly guitars, rich harmonies, and meaningful lyricism. Since releasing their debut EP Wives Tales in 2024, Mechanical Wonders have continued to build momentum with a string of singles and live shows across Dublin.

Rooted in working-class Dublin and shaped by long-standing friendships, their music draws on shared experiences growing up, combining nostalgia with a modern edge. With new material on the way and set to be released in the first half of 2026 and a growing reputation on the local scene, Mechanical Wonders are quickly establishing themselves as one to watch.
