Mathology is a three-piece instrumental math rock band from Indonesia, formed in 2018. The band consists of Ramcey Putra Petirs (Guitar), Soebroto Harry Prasetyo (Bass), and Rizma Landon (Drums).
Blending intricate guitar tapping, shifting time signatures, and tight rhythmic interplay, Mathology crafts a sound that balances technical precision with emotional atmosphere. Their music moves between aggressive, high-energy passages and cinematic ambient textures, creating an immersive live experience that transcends language barriers.
Since their formation, Mathology has actively performed across Indonesia and released multiple works, including their debut mini album Crayon (2018) and their full-length album Transition (2025). Over the years, the band has evolved while maintaining a strong instrumental identity rooted in dynamic composition and progressive structures.
In April 2026, Mathology will embark on a Japan tour (Tokyo & Osaka), marking an important step in their international expansion. With a focus on powerful live performances and professional stage presence, Mathology continues to push forward as one of Indonesia’s emerging instrumental math rock acts, ready to connect with global audiences.
