marQu vr is an audiovisual performance artist and VJ who has been part of the Irish Psy Trance scene since the early 2000s.
marQu vr is the professional artist name of Mark Walsh, a graduate from DLIADT in 2001.
Their work explores Psychedelic experiences through technology, Cyberdelic art which is a sub-genre of the Cyberpunk movement and now part of our everyday reality.

The inner landscapes of the mind
merge with external influences from mass media while morphing and distorting through a process of
real time manipulation, creating a new interpretation of the information we receive, be it through technology or via real world experiences. The journey fuses Psychedelic elements with futuristic glitches and distortions to create a retro futuristic feel while tapping into deeper levels of the Subconscious.
