Marion Daly

I am a music teacher, composer, singer/songwriter with over 35yrs teaching experience. I have worked with several junior orchestras and ensembles and have created bodies of work for commercial release.

Singer/songwriter Marion, was born in Cork Ireland and spent most of her childhood years surrounded by the sounds of music. Her love for her violin and the great classical composers fuelled a passion for melody writing and lush harmonies.
Marion's songwriting career really kicked off in 2013 when she released her first song 'This Silent Night', a touching Christmas lullaby followed by pop anthem 'Lay Your Head Down' in 2016. Returning to college much later in life, Marion completed a degree in Popular Music and a masters in commercial composition and went on to release her debut EP 'Amazing' in 2022, featuring 'Never Be Me' and 'Body Down'.

Marion's song writing is driven and inspired by life's great and not so great moments, often hard hitting and raw.

Marion released her second EP "Nearly Made It" on 10th October 2025 and its first single 'Sunday Morning Sounds' was released on the 7th February 2025 with 'Love Song' released on the 4th April 2025. Marion's easy listening style and emotive story-telling sets her apart from all other styles today. With a hint of nostalgia, Marion's simple yet elegant vocals, offer a sense of safety and security.
