Maria

Maria is one of the most promising young artists currently blossoming from the ever-promising Irish music scene. She found her passion for music at a young age and knew it was her calling in life. In her youth, she won multiple awards at her music school. Through Bimm, In 2019 she joined forces with Akrasia, a blues-rock group from Dublin, to front the band. Her powerful personality made her a perfect fit for the group and this was obvious to anyone who had seen them perform live. In early 2020, Akrasia disbanded, allowing Maria to focus her time on her solo career and making the music she has always wanted to create.

In August of 2021, Maria released her debut single BF which received high levels of critical acclaim as well as radio rotation on Ireland’s national radio station, FM104. BF received over 30 thousand streams on all streaming platforms and caught the attention of many blogs. Maria is currently working on her debut EP project which is already showing promise as an era-defining project for Irish pop music.
