Leila Mary

Leila Mary is a songwriter and musician whose music blends together Goth and Grunge elements, with a Riot Grrrl edge. Her lyrics are the heart of her work, weaving together gothic folklore and spiritual imagery to explore personal life experiences and issues effecting women. Influences by the likes of Hole, Patti Smith, Evanescence, and My Chemical Romance, she brings her raw emotion and feminine rage to the stage. Leila uses distorted guitars, deep bass, booming drums, and dramatic vocals to create her own unique sound, sometimes featuring moments of organ for dramatic effect, and piano for sincerity. In her acoustic sets, she uses her 12 string guitar and dramatic and sometimes soft vocals, to invoke a mystical sound that would not be out of place in a fairy ring.
Leila Mary has been playing many shows across Dublin and Wicklow, most notably she had her debut festival performance at Vantastival this September. Leila released her debut single ‘Petulant Child’ in March and has since released her second single ‘Innocent’ and begun work on an EP Planned for the summer of 2026.
