Left Iris are an exciting new Irish/Spanish trio formed in Dublin in early 2024. Blending elements of shoegaze, pop, and electronica, they create a dreamy sound with infectious melodies, singable, swirling tunes wrapped in rich layers of guitars, harmonies, and synths.
The trio has released 7 singles to date, amassing over 100k streams, as well as enjoying radio play and features on Irish, UK and American media outlets. Producing their own material, Left Iris are prolific and have raised their sights for 2026 both in the studio and on the stage.
Previous singles ‘Synthia’ and ‘Valentine’ caught listeners’ attention with unique melodic hooks and warm dreamy instrumentals. 'Georgia' incorporates blasts of guitars, dual vocals and electrifying synths reminiscent of 90s guitar Pop, while the follow up 'Escitalopram' took things in a looser, grungier direction, while still maintaining the killer hooks the band has become known for. Following the release of their debut EP ‘Love Songs’ in February 2026, the group are powering ahead with releases planned regularly for the rest of the year.
Left Iris wasted no time making their mark on the live scene, playing 40 shows and selling out Dublin’s Workman’s Cellar in 2024. 2025 kicked off with their debut Irish tour, with headline shows in London and Amsterdam following later in the year. Closer to home, the group headlined Upstairs in Whelan's in August in support of Epilepsy Ireland, before closing the year with their biggest show to date in the Workman's main room in November. Left Iris will kick off their 2026 live schedule with a headline show in London's The Hope & Anchor on March 19th. This will be followed by a show in the Thomas House Dublin in May 2026, which will be recorded for release as a live EP.
‘They remind me of Vinyl Williams, whose music I love. Those woozy synths and the chord progressions are spot on’ - The Thin Air
‘A great live band with class tunes, almost like a modern Velvet Underground’ - David O’Doherty
