Laura Mulcahy Biography
Laura Mulcahy might pack a potent punch when letting off steam but would charm the birds from the trees in classic style with an impish twinkle in her eye, when a lightness of touch is required.
A musician and artist from County Clare, she has found plenty to write about from rich experiences of life. On her home turf, there are many with good things to say about this explosive spark who has been lighting up the radio airwaves since releasing her debut, Funeral, Home, Lizard... (2017), followed by Once Upon A Time In The Sand Dunes (single, 2018) Easy Listening Dirges For The Partially Hinged (2019), Sub Nubibus Margarita (2023) and Janet (single, 2024).
Across three albums and two singles, she has amazed all with her genre-defying melodic output. Laura explores everthing that life brings - from collective traumas to the stupidity and hilarity of life itself, including matters of the heart.
