Lara Fitzsimons is an emerging Irish artist hailing from the Northside of The Liffey. Drawing inspiration from the sound of alternative 90s with a modern Irish edge. Lara’s music is both high energy and emotionally charged. With years of experience writing and performing, she strives to create music that speaks to both the heart and the soul.
Lara’s lyrics speak about her experiences growing up and falling in and out of love in the city she calls home. Her music is a celebration of youth and being at the start of your life.
“I take huge inspiration from the theatre world when I write my music or play a gig because it has been my passion since I was really young and I was always going to want to combine that with my music. I want my performances to make people feel something and give people an escape: a few laughs, a few tears and an aul boogie”.
Having earned spots on some iconic stages such as Trafalgar Square London, Whelans Ones to Watch, Three City Stages and not to mention selling out her debut headline gig just 24 hours after the release of her debut single, Fitzsimons is one to watch for 2026.
