Larabel, an independent artist born and raised in the remote Gaeltacht region of Gweedore, Co Donegal. Larabel sings with a compelling Irishness that makes her music stand out. Her infectious melodies and honest lyrics tackle difficult subjects that most people would shy away from. The theme of nature, and its power as a healing balm, is prominent throughout the songwriter's prior output; however, her latest single, ‘eleven eleven’, wholly encapsulates this pertinent message.
Weaving between a tapestry of genres from alternative folk, dream pop and indie. Taking inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Holly Humberstone and Maribou state.

Larabel began her music career in Donegal playing at an open mic ‘Clubeo’ hosted by lead singer of Clannad, Moya Brennan. The now Dublin based artist has curated a name for herself in the Irish music scene. Larabel started the year by playing ‘Whelan's ones to watch 2024’. Larabel has big goals and ambitions with exciting releases planned. She is currently working on her debut EP and collaborating with electronic artists. Larabel sold hout her debut headline in Wehlans on May 9th, now has more exciting gigs coming up such as, Glastonbury.

Larabel has shared stages with artists such as David Keenan, Roisin O, Lyra and Krea. She has played in the Olympia theatre. She has gotten press coverage on well known Irish radio stations; 104 FM, Dublin city FM and Cork FM, Galway Bay FM and Highland radio, Radió Na Life, to the front page of The Independent Newspaper and featured in Totally Dublin culture magazine.
