Kuara is a Brazilian-born, Dublin-based artist fusing contemporary R&B with elements of soul, pop, rap, and dance. Her sound is emotionally rich, rhythmically bold, and shaped by an experimental approach, driven by lyrics that explore love, vulnerability, and self-empowerment.
She began her musical journey as an organist, playing in church and singing in the choir. However, breaking away from the church and its limitations allowed her to evolve her style and reflect a deeper artistic independence. Today, her music blends powerful storytelling with genre-bending production, always centered on honesty, emotional depth, and a strong connection to her audience.
Since moving to Ireland, Kuara has performed at well-known venues including The Workman’s Club, The Grand Social, and The International Bar, and has been featured on Dublin South FM’s Sunday Night Show with Keith McLoughlin. Her performances are known for their emotional intensity and captivating energy, even in the most intimate settings.
Her debut single Brand New Day introduced her as a bold new voice on the scene. Her latest release, Falling, still (feat. Jamel Franklin), leans into the romantic and vulnerable, soulful side with layered vocals, marking the next step in her journey.
