Kristine Mills

Critically acclaimed jazz vocalist and award-winning songwriter Kristine Mills has built an international career distinguished by artistry, versatility, and achievement. A multiple Houston Press Music Awards winner (Best Female Vocalist and Best Songwriter), she was also named among Houston’s 100 Most Distinguished Artists on the prestigious Rocks-Off list.

Kristine is honored to headline Fever Productions’ The Jazz Room series at Banana Block, Belfast. She also appeared at The Green Room at the Black Box and the NI War Memorial Museum to perform multiple sets for Belfast Culture Night on September 19th. She sold out a special Sunday Afternoon Jazz performance of "Peggy Lee - That Lady is a Tramp" on November 23rd with the Kristine Mills Trio featuring guitarist Mateusz Chmielewski and bassist Rod Patterson at the Harrison Chambers of Distinction.

As a songwriter and recording artist, Kristine has released several acclaimed albums, including bossanovafied, BOSSAtoo, the Houston Arts Alliance grant-funded asYETuntitled, and the Gold REMI Award-winning soundtrack to Collector’s Waltz, which she also produced. Each project earned Grammy shortlist recognition, garnered national and international radio play, and was featured on the in-flight music programs of major airlines. In 2021, she released Looking Back. Moving Forward., a retrospective celebrating 30 years of her songwriting career.

On stage, Kristine has headlined sold-out shows at theaters, performing arts centers, and renowned clubs worldwide, from New York to New Orleans, Miami, Houston, and Brazil. Highlights include guest appearances with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, a headlining tour at the Brazilian International Jazz Festival, and performances at Snug Harbor, the House of Blues, and the Miami Music Festival. Since relocating to the UK, she has performed at Piano Smithfield, Pizza Express Jazz Club (Soho), The Pheasantry (Chelsea), and regularly at Bert’s Jazz Bar (Belfast).

A consummate live performer and versatile musician, Kristine has also served as Music Director and featured artist at Giorgio’s in Houston’s five-star Hotel Granduca and is a first-call vocalist for corporate events, private functions, charity galas, and special engagements. With her sophisticated blend of jazz, bossa nova, and contemporary songcraft, Kristine Mills continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
