KHEMEIA

KHEMEIA is an Amsterdam-based duo formed by Italian vocalist and songwriter Aurora Marchese and Icelandic guitarist and composer Mikael Máni Ásmundsson.

The project centers on original, voice-led songwriting developed through close musical dialogue, blending alternative songwriting with jazz-informed harmony and atmospheric acoustic textures.

Their sound balances intimacy and cinematic space, shaped by subtle contrasts between Nordic restraint and Mediterranean warmth.

KHEMEIA has performed across Europe and released their debut album in 2025 via RNC Music. The project has been supported by Amarte Fonds (NL) and Fondazione Estro Musicale (IT).
