Kez & The Dogs

Kez & The Dogs is a project from Irish singer Kez - a lush, dark folk-electronic collective steeped in raw emotion and cinematic atmosphere. Blending epic soundscapes with elemental Irish textures, the project channels primal energy, mythic landscapes, and unfiltered vulnerability into something that feels both familiar and futuristic.

Influences range from Enya, Sigur Rós, Lankum, James Blake, and Florence & the Machine. BBC’s Phil Taggart has called Kez “one of Ireland’s next important voices” and her voice, poetic and expressive, carries songs exploring femininity, Irish identity, the climate crisis, love, and existentialism. Kez has been mentored over the last few years by Grammy Award-winning producer Albhy Galuten and has collaborated extensively with Irish artists such as Ben Bix (Meltybrains?, Talos), Tadhg Byrne (Meltybrains?, Sim Simma, God Knows), Bria Dillon (Meltybrains?, The Line), Alex Gough, J Smith, and more.

Kez & the Dogs have just recorded a 10-track debut album which is due for release in January 2027, with single releases throughout the 2026 (*for access to the mixes, please email [email protected] - the songs are not yet public*)

Kez has built a strong live reputation, performing at festivals including All Together Now (2024, 2025, 2026), Croí Lar (2025, 2026), Éalu le Grá (2024, 2025), Rewild (2024, 2026), and Mirabilli (2023, 2024) alongside sold-out international shows in the USA and Portugal, including at The Brooklyn First Reform Church and Lisbon’s MVMT Studio in 2025. Recent support slots include The Devlins’ Irish tour, John Smith, Bríd Lyons, Luke Clerkin, and Allie O’Donnell. Kez was named as an "Under the Radar Act" by the Irish Times, and her work has been featured in Hot Press, District Music, RTE Sessions from Oblivion, and Nialler9.
