Karolina McKenna

Karolina is a pianist, composer, writer and an award winning film director from Wexford.

She's a classically trained pianist, as well as a professional filmmaker.

Karolina has worked as a composer, film editor and production manager before she wrote her first award winning script. Then she became a director and also found a way back to her beloved piano, but this time in a new style.
Inspired by her experiences and various skills gained over the years Karolina has taken a creative approach to her pieces. She tries so retain a classical touch while she ventures through electronic and other contemporary genres.

The first of her new wave of compositions, "Home" is also a soundtrack for her award winning film of the same title.
Having released an EP she dove right back into the studio and is currently working on a full length album, and of course, another film too.
