Kapayja

Kapayja are an alternative rock act from Dublin, Ireland. They have an expansive sound which oozes character and conviction from each genre they take from. The band is comprised of four members with taste’s as uniquely curated as each other. What comes of this is a spooky, atmospheric, grungy and cinematic sound.

Their debut EP, Age of the Open Book, drew attention from Hot Press, Radio X, BBC, GOO, Golden Plec, and RTÉ 2fm, who praised its atmosphere, intensity, and dynamic guitar work. As the band’s first studio project, each track captures a chapter of their journey since forming in 2023.

A sold-out headline show in Whelan’s Upstairs marked a milestone moment, and Kapayja continue to carve out their place in Ireland’s alternative scene.
