Kapayja

Kapayja are an independent alternative-rock band from North Dublin, defined by blistering riffs, thumping rhythms, heart-on-sleeve vocals shaped through constant experimentation.

Their debut EP, Age of the Open Book, drew attention from Hot Press, Radio X, BBC, GOO, Golden Plec, and RTÉ 2fm, who praised its atmosphere, intensity, and dynamic guitar work. As the band’s first studio project, each track captures a chapter of their journey since forming in 2023.

A sold-out headline show in Whelan’s Upstairs marked a milestone moment, and Kapayja continue to carve out their place in Ireland’s alternative scene. Their anticipated new single Slowly arrives November 28th, 2025.
