Joey O'Gorman

Engineer/Producer/Artist originally from Cork, Ireland.

Graduate of IADT Dublin in BA Creative Music Production with a First Class Honours.

Recently returned home after spending almost two years working as engineer and producer at The Recording Studio London.

Credits include: Asher Roth (mixed, mastered), Tha God Fahim (produced, mixed, mastered), Knowledge the Pirate (mixed, mastered), Marcus Smith (produced), Shivali (produced, recorded, mixed, mastered).

My work in the studio has included recording/mixing/mastering over 150 tracks, 10+ genres, 10+ languages, producing 10+ tracks, an audiobook, and VO work for TV (adverts and Amazon's We Were Liars). 4 songs I've been involved in have featured on BBC radio (including 3 productions) and Shade 45, and Shivali's Queen of Wands album has been touring worldwide (produced, recorded, mixed, mastered all tracks).

Personal releases have been a blend of hip-hop and instrumental influences from 60's-rock and orchestral sounds, inspired by The Beatles/Kanye West/Kendrick Lamar etc. Debut EP Weight of the World released in 2023 featured multiple vocalists, and was entirely composed, produced, mixed, mastered by me. Second EP Loose Time with Marcus Smith was 60's-rock inspired, and featured all live instruments including strings, brass, winds, guitars, drums.
