Joanne Gallagher

I’m Joanne Gallagher, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Killala, Co. Mayo. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember and started playing guitar when I was eight. My music blends pop and folk-pop, with honest songwriting and powerful vocals at the centre of what I do.

I’ve released a number of original songs, including my latest release, “Wherever I Go”, which I wrote for Mayo’s All-Ireland final campaign and performed in front of a crowd of around 20,000 people at the Homecoming.

In 2025, I won Today FM’s Big Busk national competition, raising over €3,000 for Focus Ireland. Since then, I’ve performed across Ireland at venues and festivals including Whelan’s, Róisín Dubh, Ballina Arts Centre and the TF Royal.
