Jenny Hallahan Quartet

Led by electric bassist and composer Jenny Hallahan, the Jenny Hallahan Quartet performs original contemporary instrumental music that blends jazz, groove, and strong melodic writing.
Jenny’s compositions combine memorable melodies with rhythmic energy, creating music that feels both thoughtful and engaging. While Jenny writes the music, it is brought to life through the individual voices and collective interplay of the quartet. The sound moves between atmospheric textures, driving grooves, and open improvisation, giving each performance a sense of spontaneity and connection.
The ensemble features Cathal Roche (saxophone), Conor Bastible (keys), and Chad Murphy (drums). Based in Ireland, the quartet performs in venues and festivals across the country.
