Ivan Nicolas

Ivan Nicolas is an Irish singer-songwriter based in Dublin, he writes guitar-driven indie rock with a cinematic edge. Blending elements of classic pop-rock with modern alternative-rock, his sound sits in the same space as artists like The War on Drugs, Sam Fender & Wolf Alice.

After stepping away from releasing for a creative reset, Ivan returned with a clear artistic vision and a new body of work. His recent releases “Voodoo Love,” “All Your Wonder,” and “Train On Fire” mark a shift toward a bigger, more anthemic sound, combining introspective lyricism with layered production.

During the making of the record, Ivan spent time travelling back and forth to the USA while his father was in hospital there. In between these trips, he continued fine-tuning the mixes and completing the album. Following his father’s passing, and holding onto some final words that stayed with him, Ivan returned to the project with a renewed sense of purpose and perspective.

His debut album is set for release in October 2026.

Now entering a new phase in 2026 after just releasing "Train On Fire", Ivan continues to build momentum with a growing audience, establishing himself as one of Ireland’s emerging voices.

Ivan’s music has been played on BBC Introducing, RTÉ 2FM, and U.S. stations including WVMM Pulse 90.7 FM and Pulse Radio, showcasing his ability to craft songs that resonate both intimately and on a grand scale.
