Intricate

Clonakilty four-piece Intricate deliver an energetic, sharp brand of indie rock defined by a tight, danceable rhythm section and bright, driving guitar riffs. Drawing influence from foundational indie acts like Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, and Two Door Cinema Club, the band has rapidly transformed raw local momentum into a fierce regional following in just over a year together.
Rather than relying on studio polish, the West Cork outfit has built its reputation on the ground. Intricate delivers a highly energetic, road-tested live set that consistently packs venues across County Cork. This strong grassroots drawing power has quickly translated into digital success; their May 2026 debut single, "Getting Close," swiftly cleared the 10,000 streams milestone—a standout benchmark for an emerging independent act out of rural Ireland.
Now backed by professional management and a coordinated national radio campaign, the group is executing a deliberate expansion beyond the regional circuit. The autumn 2026 release of their highly anticipated follow-up single, "Changing Seasons," arrives alongside high-profile regional billings, including performances at the Cork Jazz Festival and the legendary DeBarras Folk Club.
Combining a distinct, nostalgic sonic identity with the professional infrastructure to back it up, Intricate are actively stepping onto the national showcase and festival network. They arrive fully equipped to warm up major festival stages, engage early crowds, and bring a dedicated, high-energy live audience with them.
