Dublin art-rock band iNNUENDO are bringing a vibrant world of sonic color to the Irish music scene. Founded in 2022, the 4-piece blends contrasting influences to create the kind of music they’ve always wanted to hear—dynamic, full of intrigue, and unapologetically unique.

Described by RTE 2's Dan Hegarty as “music you feel obligated to share with anyone who will listen,” their sound combines a modern edge with a nostalgic and contagious energy, showcased in their charismatic and eclectic live sets. Drawing inspiration from alt and art-rock icons like Radiohead, Kate Bush, and David Bowie, iNNUENDO also weaves in the melodic charm of indie and dance favourites like The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem

Their debut EP, On Occasion, released in September 2024 on Blowtorch Records, delves into the emotional complexities of undefined relationships, exploring themes of defiance, misunderstanding, and acceptance through rich sonic soundscapes and heartfelt refrains. The EP has been described by David Carr in The Goo as having an irresistible energy and delivering unforgettable hooks, as well as being celebrated by Nialler9, Hot Press, GoldenPlec, and So Young. With a sold-out physical release of their debut EP, packed venues across their Irish and UK tour, standout performances at showcases like Whelan’s Ones to Watch, and shared bills with rising acts such as Skinner, Adore, and Theatre, the band has built serious momentum — and anticipation is high for their next move.

Looking ahead, iNNUENDO is working on new music, focusing on creating concise, high-energy tracks that are designed to grab your attention and leave you wanting more. Inspired by artists like Talking Heads, Model/Actriz, Franz Ferdinand, The Lemon Twigs, and The Cardigans, the new material showcases a different side to iNNUENDO, and sees them venturing into fresh sonic territory for 2025.
