"Harbouring Oceans are on the cusp of stardom... Get ready to be impressed" - Hotpress Magazine.
Drawing heavily from genres outside their rock foundations, the sound of Harbouring Oceans is characterised by close harmony, deep rhythmic grooves and soulful vocal melodies. Hip-hop and electronica are also strong features in the band’s sonic signature. This dynamic sound ranges from quiet, almost ambient territory to squalls of thunderous noise!
Harbouring Oceans released their debut single, "Enso," in May 2016, the first release from a band who's members have been playing together in different projects for over a decade. After years of experimenting with their sound acorss Ireland in some of the country's biggest venues and festivals, Harbouring Oceans was born in December 2015. Energised by the creativity and DIY mentality of the independent music scene, Harbouring Oceans are determined to spread their unique sound as far and wide as possible.
Harbouring Oceans are supporting the inspiring Maverick Sabre in Kilkenny on the 22nd of May, followed by dates across Ireland with the awesome England-based band Hawk in June.
