Gráinneog

Gráinneog is an Irish Singer/Songwriter based in
Cork City. Drawing inspiration from renowned
artists such as Nick Drake and Adrianne Lenker,
and more local talents such as Joshua Burnside
and Rua Rí, he brings his audience in with his
cozy sound, covering topics of friendship, family,
and grief.

A childhood surrounded by classical music,
Jazz, and traditional Irish music has shaped his style into lush, complex, and technical Guitar
parts, played on mellow nylon strings reminiscent of early Leonard Cohen, accompanying
smooth and simple vocals. His lyrics aim to entice the listener with vibrant imagery, wordplay,
and questions that dig at you long after the music is over.

Having independently produced and released his debut single "Brian and the Books of Graham
Greene" in 2024, he is now working on his debut album, set to be released in 2026.
