Grá

Grá are a six piece female led folk project
creating a new sound within the Irish folk
scene, Grá combine acoustic and synthesised
sounds that reimagine Ireland’s traditional
music.

Starting barebones in a basement, Lu Hope,
Niah Donnelly, Norah Steven’s, Ciara Shortt,
Chlöe Fitzgerald, and Shae Walsh have
developed a sound that unhooks traditional
music from the past, searching for a modern
Irish identity.

Grá have captured a following early on that
refuse to look away, filling rooms with each
show, and leading to a weekly residency in
Egan’s pub in Dublin.
