Ger Kirrane

Ger Kirrane is a professional musician, songwriter and teacher from Dublin. Originally classically trained on the piano through the Royal Irish Academy of Music, he also studied Music in University College Dublin.

He plays several instruments across a range of musical styles, and has toured as a session musician with some of Ireland’s most established folk groups and showbands.

Having spent over 20 years working as a session musician, Ger has decided to record his own material.

Over the last 18 months he has worked with producer Brendan Carthy (Orchard Studio, Enniscorthy), and collaborated with session musicians online to complete his debut album “Silver Linings”, which is due for release in March 2022.
