Figital

Figital -the electronic music project of Dublin-based producer and DJ Conor Ryan. Forged in the crucible of early rave culture and a lifelong immersion in eclectic sounds. It began with a deep, journey through music: a household soundtracked by an iconic vinyl collection (Talking Heads, The Who Thin Lizzy The Doors Bob Marley) and a teenage passion for guitar in 90s indie outfits.

But..the awakening came with the rave revolution of the mid-90s. Awesome sounds, magnetic energy, pulling him from record shops and turntables into the heart of the process: production.
As these threads all now converge as Figital, he draws from the raw spirit of early rave, the depth of classic songwriting, drum skills acquired under the tutelage of the legendary Sean Carpio, and the precision of modern studio technique,

Figital’s music is a crafted, hardware-loving electronic narrative, often bursting with energy and power, syncopated pulses and nods to the old school greats dotted througout. With a particular love for the fatness of analogue synths, deep, rockin' basslines provide a solid groove and drive to the sounds.
