Fair Green

Indie // Carrick on Shannon, Leitrim // None

After years honing his craft in electronic music production and performance, Harry Bouchier
was seeking a new project and medium to express himself, through this the ‘Fair Green’ project
was
born. Collaborating with Thomas James Simon the former Paolo Nutini drummer, the
songwriting and production process took on an unmistakable stench of the 90s, paying homage
to Rufus Wainright, Supergrass, Radiohead,
Blur and Elliot Smith whilst also harboring a tinge of 60s melody. The introduction of Udo
Grunewald created a new dimension of possibility for the band, offering his vast experience as a
studio musician and giving the band a rock solid rhythm section, he joined their first gig at
Culture night Co. Roscommon in Somers Park, Castlerea and after this began contributing to
the songwriting process. Roy Branagan joined the band in 2025 offering his influenced lead
lines to complement the already melodic sound of the band. The band’s debut 10 track album
‘Killer Universe’, recorded at The Barne Studios in Glasgow is set for release in early 2026.
In August of 2023 Fair Green made the journey across the water to the west of Glasgow to the
magnificent Barne Studio to work with Marco Rea and Lavinia Blackwall, and begin recording
their debut album “Killer Universe”, with their debut single set for release in February 2026 on
independent Scottish record label “The Barne Society”. The first two singles “Tuesday
Morning” and “VERY NICE” are 2 pop rock tracks off the album and draw influence from
bands like Blur, Gorillaz, Supergrass and Radiohead, evoking a scent of the 90s whilst adding
the bands personal contemporary flare.
