Enocie is the musical alias of 21-year-old Nicola O’Connor, an Irish artist from County Meath. She has released two singles: “One Trick Pony” (March 2025) and “Teddy Bear” (October 2025). Nicola’s musical journey began as a young child, watching her 13-year-older brother Ruairi experiment with music in his room. Fascinated by the sounds and equipment, she soon started creating her own music. Today, she writes, produces, mixes, and masters all of her music independently in her bedroom, occasionally accompanied by her best friend and studio companion, Catherine (Cassie). She is currently studying Music at Trinity College Dublin.
Her sound blends 2000s indie-rock with modern pop influences, drawing inspiration from artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Fleetwood Mac, and Raye. Her songs explore themes of character observation, personal experience, and storytelling, balancing raw emotion with fictional narrative. Under the name Enocie, Nicola crafts a world where unfiltered emotions meet imagination, capturing and elevating the small, intimate moments of everyday life.
Enocie has performed widely across Dublin, including her first headline show at Little Whelans on Wexford Street, and as a supporting act for Greg Sol’s album release party at The Button Factory in Temple Bar.
