Emmeline Turley

Singer-songwriter // Cork, Cork // She/her

A jazz singer and alternative pop songwriter from Co. Wexford, Emmeline's songs combine high quality storytelling with catchy melodies. Her performances are intimate, sometimes just her and a piano, creating a strong connection with her audience. Emmeline's USP is her romantic string arrangements, paired with complex choral accompaniment and her love for the dramatic.

She is the lead singer of the Emmeline Turley Trio, and won the UCC Music Society's Singer-Songwriter Competition in 2025.

Emmeline has performed multiple times in Cork Jazz Festival, and in venues across Montréal. She is the recipient of the Dónal Gleeson award and Quercus College Scholarship.

She is currently self-recording and producing her debut album, set for release on the 7th of August 2026.

Emmeline is Musical Director for UCC’s Musical Theatre Society’s production of “Carrie” in the Firkin Crane. She has previously been Choral Mistress and Vocal Coach for their 2024 production of “Grease,” and Musical Director for "Cabaret." Aside from musical directing, she has workshopped an original piece with the Orchestre Symphonique de l’Isle, Montréal, as well as composed the music for the animation "Lorraine and the Ladybugs," which has been screened at thirteen international film festivals worldwide.
