Ember

Ember are an alternative folk rock band from Dublin. Fronted by Nelly McCullen on vocals, with Jonathan Barry on bass, Leo Stevens on drums, and Daire Canny on lead guitar, the band combine honest songwriting with raw, high-energy arrangements, often carrying a subtle sense of eeriness that ties back to their folk roots.

Since their first show in September, Ember have quickly built momentum, playing packed-out shows across Dublin, including venues such as The Grand Social and Whelan’s main stage. In January 2026, they performed at Whelan’s Ones To Watch, marking an important step as they continue to grow within the Dublin scene.

With a steadily growing following and a strong live presence, Ember are establishing themselves as a band to watch in Ireland’s thriving music scene.
